Terms of Sale — Silver Current Press

These terms apply to purchases of digital educational resources and to voluntary contributions made through authorjamesmulhern.com. The seller is Silver Current Press LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (“Silver Current Press,” “we,” or “us”).

What we sell

Digital classroom and writing resources: PDF and Word booklets, guides, workbooks, study units, handouts, and related materials. Each product page names the materials included, the file formats, the price in U.S. dollars, and how the files are delivered. Many resources on this site are free; nothing here requires a purchase or a contribution to download a free resource.

Classroom license

Each purchase gives the purchaser a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print, and use the materials for the purchaser’s own classroom, tutoring, homeschool, or personal study, including copies for the purchaser’s own students. Please do not resell, redistribute, post publicly, upload to a shared drive or learning platform beyond your own students, or alter the materials for resale. Ownership and copyright stay with Silver Current Press and James Mulhern.

Prices, tax, and payment

Prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Pennsylvania sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it, and the full total is shown before you pay. Payments are securely processed by Stripe or, for some products, by our storefront provider, Payhip. Silver Current Press never receives or stores your full card number.

How the charge appears

Card and bank statements show the charge as SILVER CURRENT PRESS. Some card statements show a shortened form beginning SILVERCURR. If you do not recognize a charge, please write to [email protected] before contacting your bank, and we will look into it right away.

Delivery

Digital files are available right after payment on the confirmation page, and a link is sent to the email address entered at checkout. If you have not received your files within 15 minutes, check your spam or promotions folder, then write to [email protected] with your name, the product, and the purchase date.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund and Digital Delivery Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be waived.

Voluntary contributions

Contributions to support the free Commonplace Shelf are gifts to Silver Current Press LLC, a for-profit company. Nothing is provided in exchange, and contributions are not tax-deductible charitable donations. Monthly contributions renew each month until cancelled; to cancel, email [email protected], and the cancellation takes effect before the next charge. Errors and availability

We may correct pricing, typographical, or description errors and may cancel an order affected by such an error. If we cancel a paid order, we refund the full amount.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
